6:30 - 7:30 pm Dangfly!
One time, something bad almost happened to everyone here, but it didn’t… because of DANGFLY. Boom!
What does a singer songwriter do after pouring his heart and soul out for 14 years, only to realize that along the way, he made mistakes? He combs the bars for the most desperate talent he can find and offers these simple truths: Dark sunglasses in a dark bar don’t make sense, No one cares what order the songs are in, and we will not be famous, don’t quit your job. Dangfly is a state of mind. Dangfly is playing the music that presents itself and doing it right now. Dangfly is about entertaining folks and enjoying it; Dangfly is rolling off your couch and committing to something, anything. Dangfly is not a jam band, nor a singer-songwriter vehicle. Dangfly is a rock band. DANGFLY!
7:30 - 8pm Beauty and the Beard (Ty Manning of Barefoot Hookers and Kelly Fuller of Norma Rae)
8pm - 9pm Scott Low and the Southern Bouillon
Chasing the melody and pushing thru stories and odd analogies, after bouts of lead guitar ego bubbles, Scott decided to start singing and reconnecting with the American ...song. Verse Chorus Repeat, maybe a bridge. Writing about our lives, the ones we love and especially the ones we don’t. Scott Low sings songs of loss, love, drinking, and rumors of peace.
9pm - 10pm The Romans
The Romans are a three piece indie rock band hailing from Atlanta GA whose music combines elements of dark new wave, 80′s pop, shoegaze, and grunge. Lush atmospheric soundscapes engulf haunted vocals creating a sound that is at once cerebral and immediate as well as instinctual and raw.
