Ken Will Morton is a highly acclaimed singer-songwriter based in Athens, GA. He is in the process of putting the finishing touches on his 7th full-length recording entitled Slow Burn tentatively set for release in January of 2013. His 6th solo effort Contenders was released on Ghostmeat Records in late 2011 to rave reviews! Ken’s music has received stellar press in Relix, American Songwriter, Vintage Guitar Magazine, Performer Magazine, Georgia Music Magazine, Elmore Magazine, Blurt.com, Maverick (UK) and more! Additionally, Contenders charted on Americana radio in both the U.S. and Europe. In June of 2012 his song “Devil In Me” was used in the season premiere of the HBO show, “True Blood.” His song Oh Lord is prominently featured in a 2008 episode of The Discover Channel's show, The Deadliest Catch, which continues to air internationally. The band comprises Morton on guitar/vocals/harmonicas, Doug Blakeman on bass and Louis Phillip Pelot on drums.
